Searching for a value for money package of lactation consultations or perhaps looking to gift a loved one some breastfeeding support?

Are you currently pregnant and hoping to successfully breastfeed? Or did you have a hard time breastfeeding your last baby or babies and would love to have a more successful and supported breastfeeding journey? No matter where you are on your path to motherhood, our nurturing team is here to offer you the compassionate care and guidance you deserve.

If it's your first pregnancy, we can provide you with further breastfeeding education to ensure you get breastfeeding off to a good start, right from the beginning! Our goal is to empower you with the knowledge and skills necessary to embark on this beautiful journey with confidence.

For those who have experienced challenges with breastfeeding in the past, we understand the importance of a more supported approach. We'll take the time to debrief and discuss your previous infant feeding experiences, working together to address any concerns or uncertainties you may have.

Our postnatal breastfeeding consultation provides a safe space for you to discuss any concerns or difficulties you may be experiencing. Whether your baby seems hungry after feeds, is exhibiting breast refusal, or you're worried about low weight gain, our compassionate team is here to help.

We specialize in addressing a wide range of breastfeeding issues, including concerns around milk supply, infant assessment for oral restrictions and post ankyloglossia (tongue tie) release rehabilitation support, difficulties with positioning and latching, mastitis, nipple pain or trauma. Our goal is to provide you with personalized support tailored to your unique needs and circumstances.

During your consultation, your practitioner will conduct a comprehensive obstetric and feeding history assessment, if applicable, and perform a physical examination of both you and your baby (visual examination only in virtual consultations). We'll observe how your baby feeds, whether it's at the breast or bottle, to better understand and address any challenges you may be facing. Following our assessment, your practitioner will work with you to develop a detailed feeding and treatment plan that aligns with your feeding goals. This plan will be emailed to you for your reference, ensuring clarity and continuity of care. Additionally, we understand that ongoing support is crucial, which is why follow-up phone and email communication for up to 2 weeks is included in our fee. We're here to answer any questions, provide guidance, and offer reassurance as you navigate the joys and challenges of breastfeeding.
